Clarissas is the visionary new project by Thomas & Piron at the heart of Sacavém, in the municipality of Loures, and integrated into the Lisbon metropolitan area. This future neighborhood, located just steps away from the Tejo River, incorporates the rehabilitation of historic spaces and the creation of modern infrastructure, promising harmony between heritage and innovation.
Clarissas will offer nearly 760 apartments, ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms, spread across 10 plots and 37 buildings, complemented by 9,000 square meters of commercial areas and 30,000 square meters of green and leisure spaces.
The project, scheduled to begin in 2025, is designed to enrich urban life while remaining accessible to the middle class.
In addition to new housing, the project will integrate the transformation of the convent of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires e da Conceição dos Milagres.
At this stage of development, Thomas & Piron hopes to create a modern residence for seniors after renovation, including nursing services and spaces for children, reinventing a place steeped in history into a dynamic community center.
The revitalization of Praça da República through a strong partnership with the Loures City Hall is also part of this ambitious project.
